Freelance Writing
I have been writing articles for a marketing firm for some time now, and I gotta say….it is bullshit.
I have written reviews of products that I have never used, and never will use; I do not see too many women using testosterone patches. Diet pills…HGH anti-aging supplements…all bullshit. Will not work.
The cheap bastards do not even want to pay a decent wage to someone to help them peddle their crap…$3.50 an article. I have seen commercials on television where you can help a poor child in a third world country by sending in $5, which will feed them for a month. Unfortunately, I do not live in one of those countries. In the USA, $5 a month will see you starve in the street. Actually that isn’t right…because that “wage” will qualify you for food stamps and pubic assistance.
I am not saying that I expect to get rich doing this, but this is ridiculous.
By the way, and I am only including this because apparently, someone actually buys this crap: Do Your Homework before you buy any “supplement” from the Internet or a health food store. At best, you will be wasting your money. At worst, you could be doing serious damage to your health and body.

As for why I am writing this drivel, I needed the experience and some type of job. I thought I could use what I am learning here to get a real job at some point. But I now know why the person who hired me kept asking if I was sure that I wanted to do this long term. I made more money when I was a teenager and babysat for the neighbor’s kids.

I thought the Republicans were supposed to be creating jobs…not taking them away from abortion providers, and taking rights away from women.

Number 2: The Palaces That Taxpayers Built
In Louisville, Ky., as the city struggles with high unemployment, Goldman Sachs engineered a scheme to construct a huge new sports arena that is now siphoning millions of dollars of public money into the investment bank’s coffers. In Jefferson County, Ala., Goldman orchestrated the construction of what’s been called “the Taj Mahal of sewer-treatment plants” — a massive boondoggle that has bankrupted the county and, once again, made Goldman huge money. And in New York, where public budgets are being gutted, Goldman just opened a monstrous $2 billion headquarters, financed by what Bloomberg News calls “unprecedented” aid from taxpayers. […]

Why does my life suck?
Okay, I gotta admit that it could be worse. But geez, it would be nice to catch a break once in awhile. Life has been treating me as though I fucked its boyfriend and it.is.PISSED about it. I’m just tired of the struggle.
